1. What WBU is

WBU is an independent platform that helps students keep track of their studies: a course catalogue, a schedule, a GPA calculator and an AI advisor. It is run by us and by nobody else.

WBU is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any university. Course information shown here is collected from a publicly published course catalogue and reproduced for reference. It is not an official record, and we cannot change what a university holds about you.

2. Who can use WBU

You must be 16 or older to create an account. If you are under 16, please do not sign up. You confirm your age when you register.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate details when you register, and keep them current.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is your responsibility.
  • One account per person.
  • Tell us if you think someone else has got into your account.

4. Course data, and decisions you make with it

We refresh the catalogue regularly, but it can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong — a course may move, fill up, or stop being offered without the published listing changing. Prerequisites shown here are our reading of the catalogue text, and some of that text is ambiguous enough that we leave it out rather than guess.

Check anything that matters — registration deadlines, prerequisites, credit counts, graduation requirements — against your university's own systems before you act on it. We are not responsible for the consequences of a decision made on the strength of what this platform showed you.

5. The AI advisor

The AI advisor generates its answers with a language model. It can be confidently wrong, and it does not know anything your university has not published or you have not told it. Treat it as a starting point for thinking, not as advice — it is not academic, legal, financial or medical advice, and it does not speak for any institution. Verify important details with your university.

6. What you upload

Anything you put into WBU — the courses you import from a transcript, notes, messages — stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store it and show it back to you as part of running the service. Do not upload other people's personal data.

7. Fair use

  • Do not scrape, bulk-download, or resell the catalogue.
  • Do not impersonate anyone, including staff of any university.
  • Do not try to break, overload, or get around the security of the service.
  • Do not use WBU to harass anyone or to post unlawful content.

8. Availability

WBU is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, and we may add, change, or withdraw features. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending it

You can stop using WBU at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy for how. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

10. Changes

If these terms change we will update the date at the top of this page, and for anything significant we will tell you in the app. Continuing to use WBU after a change means you accept the new version.
